HK to restore Bruce Lees old home

The Hong Kong government has agreed to preserve a former home of late martial arts legend Bruce Lee and turn it into a tourist attraction, an official said Wednesday.

The house where Lee lived from 1972 to 1973 is currently used as a "love motel," where rooms are rented by the hour and people often carry on affairs. The owner has lobbied to covert it into a museum.

Punk guitarist Ron Asheton of The Stooges has been found dead in his Ann Arbor home. He was 60.

City police Sgt. Brad Hill says there were no signs of foul play, and the death appeared to be of natural causes.

Hill says officers discovered Asheton early Tuesday after they were called to his home around midnight by an associate who hadn\'t heard from him in several days.

Asheton was an original member of The Stooges, the influential protopunk band founded in Ann Arbor in 1967. Asheton\'s brother, Scott, was the band\'s drummer.

Anna Nicole Smith judge cleared of wrongdoing

Authorities say the former judge who presided in the dispute over Anna Nicole Smith\'s remains has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

The Miami-Dade state attorney\'s office announced the results of its investigation Tuesday.

Broward County Judge Larry Seidlin, who left the bench in 2007, is best known for his emotional displays while presiding over the debate on where to bury model Anna Nicole Smith\'s body that year.

Last year, a complaint was received from a lawyer who said Seidlin had solicited gifts from another attorney who represented clients in his court.

Mexican warlock predicts US troops on border

Mexico\'s self-proclaimed \"Grand Warlock\" says the United States will pull troops out of Iraq in 2009 and send them to the border with Mexico in an attempt to expand its territory.

The prediction from Antonio Vazquez comes with a word of warning though: his record of projecting the future is spotty at best.

Vice President Dick Cheney says Russia's military actions in Georgia "must not go unanswered."

Cheney spoke Sunday afternoon with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili. "The vice president expressed the United States' solidarity with the Georgian people and their democratically elected government in the face of this threat to Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity," Cheney's press secretary, Lee Ann McBride, said.

Iraq's foreign minister insisted Sunday that any security deal with the United States must contain a "very clear timeline" for the departure of U.S. troops. A suicide bomber struck north of Baghdad, killing at least five people including an American soldier.
